is the President of John Dunham & Associates. John specializes in the economics of how public policy issues affect products and services. He has conducted hundreds of studies on taxes and regulation. He is a regular commentator on U.S. economic conditions. His research has been published in a number of refereed journals including Economic Inquiry.
Prior to starting his own firm, John was the senior U.S. economist with Philip Morris, producing research and information on key issues facing all of the company’s divisions. Before this, John was a senior economist for the New York City Mayor’s Office, the New York City Comptroller’s Office, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey where he conducted the economic impact analysis of the World Trade Center.
John received his M.A. in economics from the New School for Social Research and his MBA from Columbia University. He is a member of the American Economics Association and the National Association of Business Economists.
joined John Dunham and Associates in 2009 and is responsible for economic analysis and modeling. Prior to joining the firm, Victor majored in economics at Tufts University and went on to earn a Master’s in Economics from The New School for Social Research. He is based in New York.

He is currently working on his PhD in Economics at the New School for Social Research in New York. He earned his Bachelor’s in Economics at the University of California, Davis in 2004, and had worked in management prior to pursuing advanced education. He is based in New York.
Lynda LaMonte Garmong
joined John Dunham and Associates in 2010 and is responsible for marketing, communications, business development and client relations. Prior to joining the firm, she was Director, Issue Management for UST Public Affairs. Lynda graduated from St. Lawrence University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. She is based in New York.

Prior to joining the firm, Sean was Vice President, Public Relations and Research at the Can Manufacturers Institute. Sean was educated at George Mason University where he earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Government & Politics and Economics and a Masters of Public Administration. While there, he also received a Certificate in Association Management. He is based in Washington, D.C.

Previously, Mike was a Partner at the consultancy Capital Economic Advisors and President of Bonanza Goldfields Corporation, a publicly traded junior gold mining and exploration company. Mike also served as Chief Strategy Officer at the United States Mint from February 2007 to February 2011. While at the United States Mint, Mr. Stojsavljevich advised the Director of the United States Mint on strategic planning, economic issues, marketing strategy, and legislative initiatives, as well as leading the United States Mint’s rebrand initiative which was awarded the prestigious 2011 Rebrand global “Best of Award.” For his services, Mr. Stojsavljevich was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal by Secretary Hank Paulson. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Stojsavljevich worked at Altria Corporate Services, Philip Morris USA and Miller Brewing Company in marketing, finance, and corporate affairs roles. Mike also served as a military interpreter for the Department of Defense on peacekeeping operations in Bosnia during Operation Joint Guard, from 1997-1998.Mike earned his Master of Arts in Economics from Western Michigan University in 1997 and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Indiana University at Bloomington 1995.

After earning his BA in English at Calvin College and working in a wide variety of roles, he earned his MA in Global Finance, Trade, and Economic Integration at the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies. In his off hours he writes political fantasy and science fiction. He is based in Washington, DC.
Alison Blackman Dunham
is a founding partner of John Dunham and Associates. She is a freelance writer who advises the firm on communications and financial matters. She graduated from Syracuse University with a B.A. in Music History and received a Masters in Public Administration from New York University. She is based in New York.
